Griffin Technology Grants Frequency Exclusivity for the Griffin Headphone Range

February 20, 2014

The US audio and mobile device accessory company chooses Frequency based on its professionalism and market reach to manage all of its headphones sales exclusively throughout the UK and Europe

Frequency, one of the UK's best-known distributors of mobile phone accessories and audio products, has announced that it has been awarded Master Distributor status by Griffin Technology, making it exclusively responsible for the sale and support of all Griffin headphone products throughout the UK and Europe.

Chosen due to its understanding of the personal audio market and wide-reaching distribution model, Frequency was awarded Master Distributor status as it offers the ideal mix of sales and support activities that will complement Griffin's audio strategy throughout Europe.

Looking to increase its brand penetration, Griffin was particularly impressed with Frequency's proven route to market, which offers vendors the complete sales, marketing, logistics and support package. Significantly, Frequency is not a brand collector, preferring to select products that offer its customers real USP's in a crowded market.

"We have always been impressed with Frequency and felt that they offered the unique blend of professionalism and focus necessary to make the impact we desire", said Tony Johnson, Griffin European Sales Manager. Johnson continues, "By consolidating our European drive through Frequency, we know that our brand will be in very safe hands and we look forward to working closely with the team."

Mike Gregory, Frequency's Head of Audio added, "We are delighted to be awarded Master Distributor status by Griffin, especially as we have long respected their comprehensive range of audio products. It is a brand that offers the perfect blend of products for all ages that our customers are asking us for and is a unique and valuable addition to our portfolio."

Frequency will be responsible for the supply and support of Griffin's headphone range, which includes the world-renowned WoodTones range of in-ear and over-ear headphones, which are crafted from real wood for an engaging yet natural performance. For the youth market, which has seen a huge growth in the availability of budget tablets, Griffin's Crayola and KaZoo ranges offer headphones that limit the maximum sound level to 85dB, keeping a child's sensitive hearing safe whilst still providing the complete entertainment experience.

Griffin Technology's headphones are available from Frequency now.
