BRIEF: Hostway Corp. names new CEO

Feb. 20--Hostway Corp., which helps small and medium-sized businesses with information technology and Web hosting, has named a new CEO.

Robert Boles, a 30-year veteran of the technology industry will succeed John Martis in the top job. Martis is now the company's chief operating officer.

Boles was previously a senior vice president at Cognizant Technology Solutions, Inc. He will lead the firm as it expands its focus to from providing Web hosting and technology tools to small and medium sized busiensses to offering a broader array of technology services, according to Aaron Hollobaugh, vice president of sales and marketing. Hostway currently services more than 500,000 daily customers and brings in $100 million in annual sales Hollobaugh said.

Hostway was purchased in December by Greenwich, Ct.-based private equity firm Littlejohn & Co. for an undisclosed amount. The company employs a workforce of nearly 400.
