Feb. 20--Movie theater owner Cinemark Holdings Inc. said its fourth-quarter 2013 revenues increased 6.6 percent to $651.9 million.
Admissions revenues increased 6.9 percent and concession revenues increased 6.2 percent compared to the same three-month period in 2012, officials said.
Average ticket price increased 5.1 percent and concession revenues per patron increased 4.4 percent during the three months that ended Dec. 31, 2013.
The company's fourth-quarter net income was $15.6 million, compared to $27.8 million for the same three-month period in 2012. Officials said the 2013 figure included an after-tax loss of about $17.9 million on the company's sale of its Mexico subsidiaries.
Texas-based Cinemark, the nation's third-largest theater chain, operates theaters in Beavercreek, Huber Heights, Piqua and West Carrollton.
