Ben Briley, Caleb Johnson Sparkle on American Idol

February 20, 2014

American Idol's Top 10 guys took the stage in the semifinals Wednesday night.

And four guys clearly outperformed the others in the pursuit of five spots in the finals next week.

At the top of the list was Caleb Johnson, who opened the show with a rousing cover of "Stay With Me."

Ben Briley stole the show among the singers with a country touch, with an impassioned version of "Soul Shine."

The show also featured impressive performances from two singer-songwriter types -- Sam Woolf, who sang "Babylon," and Alex Preston, who performed "Volcano."

Also performing during Wednesday's show were C.J. Harris, George Lovett, Malcolm Allen, Spencer Lloyd, Emmanuel Zidor and Dexter Roberts.
