Tori Amos will play Orlando concert in August

Feb. 20--Tori Amos will make an Orlando tour stop this fall with an Aug. 23 concert at Orlando'sBob Carr Performing Arts Centre.

Amos' tour is in support of her upcoming album, "Unrepentant Geraldines," which will be released May 13 in the U.S. Tickets for her Orlando concert go on sale at 10 a.m.March 7.

"Unrepentant Geraldines" is Amos' 14th studio recording and marks a return to her contemporary songwriting after a series of more classically-inspired and innovative musical projects.

Amos recently launched her most ambitious project to date as a composer, along with book writer Samuel Adamson, of the musical "The Light Princes," which premiered at London'sNational Theatre in fall of 2013.

Amos has sold more than 12 million albums, played more than 1,000 shows and won numerous awards since the release of her debut album "Little Earthquakes" in 1992. She is also co-founder of RAINN (Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network), which is the United States' largest anti-sexual assault organization.

Tickets for the Orlando show will be priced at $37.50, $47.50 and $67.50. They will be available beginning March 7 at OrlandoVenues.net, the Amway Center box office, Ticketmaster retail locations, Ticketmaster.com and by calling 1-800-745-3000.
