ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 19 -- Target Brands, Minneapolis, has been assigned a patent (8,655,774) developed by six co-inventors for a "retailer debit card system." The co-inventors are Catherine Michelle Sunde, Richfield, Minn., Michele Lynn Gaida, Blaine, Minn., Timothy Michael Bardell, St. Louis Park, Minn., Robert Joseph Meissner, Brooklyn Park, Minn., Brent Allan Pier, Minneapolis, and Brian James Short-Ohana, Minneapolis.
