Ultimate Software Integrates LinkedIn and UltiPro Recruiting

Ultimate Software, a cloud provider of people management solutions, said that the company is integrating LinkedIn and UltiPro Recruiting.

In a release, Ultimate Software noted:

UltiPro Recruiting is a cloud solution that goes beyond traditional applicant tracking to focus on an engaging candidate experience that encourages potential employees to complete the online application process, while providing richer information to potential employers.

Ultimate is now offering customers seamless integration between LinkedIn and UltiPro Recruiting, with additional integration between the two platforms planned for later this year. Ultimate began completing customer deployments of UltiPro Recruiting in December 2013, and with UltiPro, these customers can give candidates the ability to securely submit applications to companies in a matter of seconds using their LinkedIn profile feature - moving their professional details and job history from LinkedIn to UltiPro with one simple click. Among the business advantages are ease, convenience, and accuracy, saving the candidate from having to navigate through multiple systems or having to copy and paste information from an existing profile in order to complete an application.

"Our new recruiting solution is designed with the candidate in mind. We have simplified the application process for both candidates and our customers, removing the traditional barriers that often cause applicants to abandon the submission process," said Adam Rogers, senior vice president and chief technology officer at Ultimate Software. "This integration takes the industry a step closer to resume-free recruiting."

Ultimate's integration with LinkedIn goes beyond the convenience of leveraging your LinkedIn profile and includes plans to allow employers to post open job opportunities directly from UltiPro to LinkedIn with one click, starting in 2014.

UltiPro Recruiting is designed to transform talent acquisition from a recruiter-centric process to one that engages potential and current employees. In addition to providing integration via LinkedIn, UltiPro Recruiting uses design principles such as gamification, networking, collaboration, and portability so candidates can build a holistic online presence with an organization - rather than submitting an application with a one-dimensional resume.
