Feb. 18--BUCHAREST -- The shares listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) were up 0.35 percent on the average on Tuesday, in an evolution tracked by the BET-C composite index, while the BET-FI index, which reflects the evolution of the shares of the five financial investment companies (SIFs), lost 0.09 percent.
Trade on the BVB main market amounted to 8.28 million euros; shares issued by 59 companies were traded; 21 of them advanced, and 30 declined.
The top liquid issuers were Transgaz with 5.07 million lei, Romgaz, 3.24 million lei, and SIF5 Oltenia, 2.25 million lei.
The BET index that reflects the evolution of the ten most liquid listed issuers advanced 0.10 percent; the extended blue-chip index of the top 25 liquid companies -- the BET-XT -- inched up 0.04 percent, and the sectoral energy and related utilities index BET-NG went up 0.91 percent.
The BET-BK return benchmark index for stock investment funds closed 0.29 percent higher.
