Croatian oil and gas company INA turns to EUR 196mn cons net loss in 2013

Croatian oil and gas company INA said it turned to a consolidated net loss of HRK 1.5bn (EUR 196mn) in 2013 from a HRK 681mn net profit of in 2012.

INA's consolidated net sales revenues fell 8.0% to HRK 27.4bn in 2013, the company said in a statement posted on the website of the Zagreb bourse.

The group's capital investments rose 57% y/y to HRK 2.0bn in 2013, out of which 80% were invested in domestic projects, mainly in the exploration and production segment.

INA operated 444 filing stations at the end of 2013 - 392 in Croatia, 45 in Bosnia, six in Slovenia and one in Montenegro. It operates two refineries - in the Croatian cities of Rijeka and Sisak. The group employs around 14,000.
