BRIEF: Joe's Crab Shack property in Jacksonville Beach sold

Feb. 18--Joe's Crab Shack property, a popular Jacksonville Beach restaurant, has been sold for $4 million to a private equity group in California.

The deal includes the 1.61-acre site and 90 parking spaces leased by the restaurant at 15 First St., according to the warranty deed and related documents recorded last Thursday with the Duval County Property Appraiser's Office.

The restaurant has a 20-year lease on the property, which unless extend will expire on Jan. 31, 2020. The monthly rent totals $23,661, according to the lease.
