Feb. 17--BUCHAREST -- The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened higher the trading session on Monday and the BET-C general index grew 0.77 per cent, after 20 minutes since the trading session opening.
The BET index reflecting the developments in the 10 most liquid stocks went up 0.68 per cent and the BET-FI index of the financial investment companies (SIFs) advanced 0.90 per cent. At the same time, the ROTX index advanced 0.96 per cent and the BET-XT blue-chip extended index of the 25 most liquid stocks increased 0.71 per cent.
The BET-NG of the companies in the energy and utilities sector went up 0.92 per cent.
The BET-BK index, the investment funds weighted capitalization index, advanced 0.71 per cent, after 20 minutes of trading.
The BVB liquidity amounted to 207,484 euros and the most liquid shares were those of SIF1 Banat Crisana, OMV Petrom and SSIF Broker.
