business. His clientele consists primarily of financial institutions,
receivers, debtors and creditors. His main areas of practice are
commercial and banking litigation, liquidation, restructuring and
proceedings in bankruptcy and insolvency matters. He also has specific
expertise in matters involving fraud and has developed an in-depth
knowledge of agricultural issues.
Gary Rivard specializes in financial services law and focuses his
practice on banking, insolvency and restructuring. Over the years, Gary
has developed significant expertise in these matters, representing
financial institutions, receivers, debtors and creditors. The files he
has managed cover the full range of insolvency and restructuring
situations, giving him a wealth of experience to draw upon in this
area. Mr. Rivard also has specific expertise in secured transactions,
hypothecary recourses, receiverships and seizures before judgment, as
