Feb. 14--BUCHAREST -- The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) on Thursday unveiled a project for the implementation of the mobile application that will enable building up an information space around the Stock Exchange for the investors.

'The application will be launched by the end of this month, but it will have two stages. At a first stage we will offer free-of-charge, but delayed information, since this is the Stock Exchange policy anywhere across the world. At the second stage, we will make available real-time data, at a cost, however', the BVB Deputy Managing Director Alin Barbu said.

He stressed the BVB, by this operation, pursues several goals. 'We want to increase the availability of the information for the investors on all channels, to answer the demand for information on all the mobile devices as it is issued and use this access path to promote the BVB and the capital market in general', Barbu explained.

The BVB executive underscored, however, that the application most certainly will not be used by the investors at their first contact with the Bourse, but by those who know what it is about on the stock market and want to require concrete information, such as price, last-minute information about the issuers or other trading data.
