Validation Extends the Capabilities of ShoreTel’s Solution by Enabling SMBs, Home Office, Remote Workers and Road Warriors to Integrate Analog Equipment into VoIP Network

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Grandstream Networks, a leading manufacturer of IP voice/video telephony and video surveillance solutions, today announced that its high density analog VoIP gateways for SMBs and powerful ATA solutions for businesses and remote workers have been validated by the ShoreTel Innovation Network, allowing businesses to migrate to a ShoreTel Unified Communications IP-based infrastructure while preserving their investment in existing analog devices. Grandstream solutions that passed rigorous testing with ShoreTel include the HT50x and HT70x FXO/FXS series of ATAs and the GXW400x and GXW42xx FXS series of gateways.

“We’re excited to announce our partnership with ShoreTel and to be a new member of their Innovation Network, offering UC communication solutions to the marketplace,” said David Li, CEO of Grandstream Networks. “Our cost-effective ATAs and gateways provide ShoreTel IP telephone service providers and resellers with an advanced, highly secure and easily managed VoIP access device for helping their customers to scale business growth and protect analog device investment.”

This interoperability further empowers ShoreTel’s worldwide reseller and service providers offering unified communication solutions to SMB, home office and remote workers. End users are in turn assured a transparent office environment regardless of where they are located or what type of analog device is used.

Grandstream GXW400x gateways are ideal for businesses wanting to connect one or more lines of a traditional PBX to a VoIP phone system or provider. Features include 4- or 8-port FXS interfaces for analog devices, dual 10M/100M network ports with integrated router and RS323 serial port for administration. The GXW42xx FXS series gateways are available in 16, 24, 32 and 48 ports, graphical LCD display with multi-language support, 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet network ports and are used in handling high volume voice calls. For road warriors, the HT50x and HT70x series of ATAs are available that offer rich telephony functionality, compactness and affordability.
