VIG, UGE: Big ETF Outflows

Looking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the Vanguard Dividend Appreciation ETF (VIG), where 8,799,291 units were destroyed, or a 3.4% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of VIG, in morning trading today Abbott Labs (ABT) is up about 0.9%, and Procter & Gamble Company (PG) is lower by about 1.4%.

And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the Proshares Ultra Consumer Goods (UGE), which lost 75,000 of its units, representing a 33.3% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior. Among the largest underlying components of UGE, in morning trading today Activision Blizzard (ATVI) is up about 0.2%, and Altria Group (MO) is lower by about 0.7%.
