SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., Feb. 12, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- OXiGENE, Inc. (Nasdaq:OXGN) today announced that it has entered into definitive agreements with investors to purchase an aggregate of approximately $12 million of units, in a registered public offering, at a price per unit of $2.05. Each unit consists of one share of common stock and 0.5 of a warrant to purchase a share of OXiGENE common stock. The warrants have an exercise price of $2.75 per share, shall be exercisable immediately and will expire five years from the date of issuance. The closing of the offering is expected to take place on or about February 18, 2014, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.
H.C. Wainwright & Co., LLC acted as the sole book-running manager for the offering.
