Feb. 12--Monroe County Sheriff's Office detectives want the public's help in identifying suspects in a credit card fraud case.
A Marathon man reported someone used his credit card number to make several fraudulent charges after he checked his statement on Jan. 27, Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Deputy Becky Herrin said.
Detective Nick Whiteman discovered someone used the card to make 23 separate charges totaling $6,600 at different locations in Miami.
Whiteman contacted several businesses where the card number was used and was able to obtain photos of the suspects that used it. He also learned the suspects could be driving an older model dark colored Ford two door truck.
