Feb. 12--BUCHAREST -- The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened lower the trading session on Wednesday and the BET-C composite index dropped by 0.19 percent an hour into the trade session.
The BET index reflecting the developments of the 10 most liquid stocks went down by 0.43 percent and the BET-FI index of the financial investment companies (SIFs) increased by 0.47 percent. At the same time the ROTX index decreased by 0.38 percent and the blue-chip extended BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid stock declined by 0.23 percent.
The BET-NG index of the companies in the energy and utilities sector advanced by 0.15 percent.
The BET-BK index reflecting the yields of the investment funds was by 0.09 percent higher an hour into the trade session.
The BVB liquidity was almost 373,000 euros and the most traded shares were those of BRD-Groupe Societe Generale, SIF 4 Muntenia and OMV Petrom.
