Sars began its sequestration bid against Agliotti a year ago.
Agliotti also failed to pay these debts and, in 2010, Sars proceeded with execution steps against him and some of his moveable assets were attached.

Sars obtained R30 785 from those assets. Agliotti also paid bail of R200 000, which was attached. Deed searches found no immovable property registered in his name. He also owed the company of
"It appears that the respondent's estate is insolvent," the investigator said.
The papers indicate that this is not the first time Agliotti has been declared insolvent. His estate was sequestrated in 1995. He submitted income tax returns only until 2004. During 1995 and 2004, he declared a taxable income of R3m.
"During 2006-2007 the respondent received widespread media coverage pertaining to alleged involvement in illegal activities, including murder, corruption, drug trafficking and money laundering," the Sars legal document said.
Agliotti was a State witness in the trial of former police commissioner Jackie Selebi, during which his wealth was much spoken about, the affidavit said.
Sars, which believes Agliotti divorced to avoid sequestration of the estate, said it was investigating his offshore interests and his luxurious house in Pecanwood, North West.
