Feb. 12--Kathy Veltri, former president of Thomasville Furniture Industries Inc., has become the fifth former Furniture Brands International executive to leave Heritage Home Group since the company's assets were acquired in November through bankruptcy bidding.
She was appointed as Thomasville' president in June, and was moved to senior vice president of retail for Heritage Home after the sale was completed.
Furniture/Today, a trade publication, reported Tuesday it was told by Heritage Home officials that Veltri was no longer with the company. Heritage Home did not respond to questions by the Winston-Salem Journal about Veltri's status.
Ralph Scozzafava, Furniture Brands' chairman and chief executive, resigned shortly after KPS Capital Partners completed the acquisition of the Furniture Brands assets. Also departed: Lane president Dan Masters, Hickory Chair president Jay Reardon and Dan Bradley, who headed up the Designer Brands unit.
