Feb. 11--BUCHAREST -- The shares listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened higher on Tuesday and the BET-C composite index rose by 0.11 percent in the first 25 minutes.
The BET index that reflects the evolution of the ten most liquid listed issuers gained 0.13 percent, while the BET-FI index, which reflects the evolution of the shares of the five financial investment companies (SIFs), went up 0.62 percent. At the same time, the ROTX index surged by 0.35 percent, and the extended blue-chip index of the top 25 liquid companies -- the BET-XT -- moved up 0.23 percent.
The sectoral energy and related utilities index BET-NG ticked up 0.05 percent.
The BET-BK return benchmark index for stock investment funds surged by 0.40 percent after the first 25 minutes.
Trade on the BVB main market amounted to 98,758.50 euros, and the top liquid issuers were Erste Group Bank, Cemacon Cluj-Napoca and Romgaz.
