Perficient to Roll Out Insights on Lync Server 2013 Implementations at Lync Conference 2014

Perficient, Inc., an information technology consulting firm serving Global 2000 and other enterprise customers throughout North America, announced it will serve as the evening event sponsor and showcase its expertise at the Microsoft Lync Conference.

The Lync Conference will be held Feb. 18 - 20 in Las Vegas, and is dedicated to communications professionals looking to learn and network with the entire Lync community.

According to a release, Microsoft Lync Server 2013 is a full- service unified communications platform that provides standard features such as instant messaging and presence, plus on-premises conferencing, content sharing, video, and telephony or PBX functionality. As one of only 15 U.S.-based Premier Lync Support Partners, Perficient partners with clients to implement Lync technologies that integrate with their current applications and enhance professional communications.

Recently, Perficient engaged with one of America's largest privately-held companies to design a Lync implementation strategy. The company has more than 140,000 employees worldwide and serves customers across a variety of market segments. The company had more than 50 vendors providing collaboration services including voice, email and fax, and needed to consolidate its internal collaboration offerings. They chose to maintain their Microsoft unified communications platform and integrate their other on-premises voice technology investments. Perficient partnered with them to develop a strategy that included a business case for change, and roadmap for architecture integration, rollout and employee training. Together, the organizations were able to effectively deploy Microsoft Lync, which allowed them to connect their entire global employee workforce, delivering cost reductions and seamless collaboration services to their stakeholders.

Perficient experts will be on hand during the Lync Conference to discuss how the company helps clients address communications needs through the implementation of Lync technologies designed to unite voice, IM, audio, video and web-conferencing into a richer, more simplified experience.
