Agilysys, Inc. (Nasdaq: AGYS), a leading developer and provider
of innovative information technology and hospitality software and
services, announced today the appointment, effective immediately, of
Michael Buckham-White to the position of Senior Vice President of Sales
and Marketing. The appointment reflects Agilysys’ commitment to
seamlessly align the Company’s sales and marketing activities as
Agilysys moves closer to the launch of its next generation property
management system. Mr. Buckham-White will report directly to Agilysys
President and CEO, James Dennedy.
In his role as Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing, Mr.
Buckham-White will oversee Agilysys’ efforts to strengthen its brand,
further establish thought leadership within the vertical markets it
serves and implement new initiatives to help achieve the Company’s sales
goals. He will also have oversight of the development and growth of
Agilysys’ partner ecosystem and channel strategy. He brings over 18
years of sales and marketing leadership experience to his new role at
Agilysys, primarily with technology-oriented companies.

Prior to joining Agilysys, Mr. Buckham-White was the managing principal
of We Engage Marketing, LLC, an Atlanta-based marketing and leadership
consulting firm focused on providing strategic planning, technology
marketing and digital services, primarily to SaaS and digital technology
clients. His clients included Cincinnati Bell Technology Solutions, PGi
and 19thHole Magazine. He also developed a leadership and
accountability program for Proctor & Gamble. Prior to We Engage
Marketing, Mr. Buckham-White held several executive management positions
at Premiere Global Services, Inc., a publicly traded provider of virtual
meeting solutions in North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific from 2006
to 2012, including most recently as Vice President, Strategic
Communications & Analyst Relations. He has also held key management
roles at the The Weather Channel and United Parcel Service.

Mr. Buckham-White has a BA in Communication/Business Administration from
Alabama A&M and a MA in Speech/Organizational Communication from the
University of Alabama.
