BRIEF: Hanesbrands' share price climbs 11.4 percent

Jan. 31 --The share price of Hanesbrands Inc. jumped 11.4 percent Thursday, the day after the Winston-Salem company announced a doubling of its fiscal 2013 profit to $330.5 million and set an adjusted earnings per share range for fiscal 2014 from $4.60 to $4.80 . The share price rose $7.42 to finish at $72.49 . It was investors' first chance to respond to the strong performance since Hanesbrands typically releases its quarterly financial reports after the stock market closes.
