Samsung Smartphone sales dropped

Samsung Electronics Co. noticed a fall in Smartphone sales during the fourth quarter of last year as competition intensified with Apple's sets. Moreover, the top smartphone maker in the world sold 86 million units of smartphones globally during the fourth quarter, down from 88 million units a quarter earlier. On the other hand, Samsung's market share fell below the psychologically significant level of 30 percent to 29.6 percent after reaching a record high of 35.2% during the third quarter. Worth mentioning, that Apple's iPhone 5s expanded its sales in china and Japan to raise its global market share to 17.6% from 13.4% in Q3, which negatively affected on Samsung's sales.
