Goliath Technologies Reports Record Breaking Revenue for Calendar Year 2013

January 28, 2014

Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) January 28, 2014

Goliath Technologies, the leading provider of proactive comprehensive virtual monitoring software for hybrid virtual, cloud and physical IT environments, announced today that they have closed their 13th consecutive record Quarter. Driven by new customer acquisition, license revenue increased over 100% on a year over year basis with overall revenues increasing 82%. Many new customers were added including Overstock.com, myspace, Xerox, Wall Street Systems, Bemis, Aerojet and Wyndham Hotels.

“The overwhelming majority of IT departments are hybrid and in some stage of adopting elements of virtual server, virtual desktop and/or cloud,” said Thomas Charlton, Chairman and CEO of Goliath Technologies. “System administrators generally have tools that were designed for legacy physical infrastructure so it is difficult to contend with virtual servers and, even more so, virtual desktops. Our technologies are architected specifically for virtual servers and desktops but also interoperate with the legacy systems. Our decision to co-exist with legacy vendors and focus on emerging platforms and VDI has been very well received as evidenced by our growth.”

Both MonitorIT and HyperThetical received major functionality enhancements during 2014. This was highlighted by the release of MonitorIT 11.0, which included the addition of real time performance graphs that take information from across the virtual, cloud and physical environments and make it more proactive, consumable and actionable. IT managers can now more easily identify bottlenecks, set alerts and automate fix actions for a truly proactive approach to monitoring their entire virtual and physical infrastructure. Additionally, Goliath released HyperThetical for NetScaler 3.0. This release significantly extended the market’s first proactive analysis tool designed specifically for Citrix NetScaler® by giving deeper actionable insight into user behavior, application usage, and overall NetScaler functionality to system administrators.

"It isn't surprising that Goliath Technologies has had another record year,” said Douglas A. Brown, MVP, CTP, vEXPERT, and Founder of DABCC. “Their technology really hits the mark by offering solutions for Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop and VMware that are purpose built for these platforms, easy to use, cost effective and interoperate with other infrastructure management technologies.”
