Jan. 27 -- BUCHAREST -- Germany's Ambassador in Bucharest , Werner Hans Lauck said on Sunday, in Satu Mare (north-west), he had the occasion to remark how auspicious local conditions are for German investors. 'I have had the opportunity to visit German companies in the regions, I have had very friendly discussions also with the German economic club here, and we have seen together how auspicious and salutary are the framework-conditions for the German investments in this region. There are many success stories in this region, which show that when there is cooperation, success can be not only for some, but for all the parties involved, so we talk about bilateral success stories. In addition to the economy, there is cooperation also on other levels, such as culture and education,' Werner Hans Lauck told a press conference. The ambassador's delegation visited the German Theoretical High School 'Johann Ettinger,' with the guests considering that the youth attending that school have good prospects in the future. Also discussed was the possibility of twinning the city and the county of Satu Mare with several cities or states in Germany . ' Romania is an important partner for Germany , with whom we like to think we have cooperation on equal footing.
