Indie boffins British Sea Power (pictured) are playing their soundtrack to the film From The Sea To The Land Beyond alongside a screening at this year's Ilkley film festival (15 Feb, King's Hall, Ilkley, ilkleyfilmfestival.co.uk). Kelis is one of the big names at The Great Escape this year. She'll be caught out there with pop pranksters Jungle and the barely functioning mess that is the Fat White Family (8-10 May, various venues, seetickets.com ) . . .
