BRIEF: New Life Electronics recycling

Jan. 25--DALLAS CITY, Ill. -- The community is invited to dispose of electronics at a free recycling event today at Dallas City, Ill., Elementary School, 921 Creamery Hill Road.

New Life Electronics Recycling will be on site from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.Dallas City Junior High Student Council members will assist.

Items accepted include computers, monitors, printers, scanners, servers, laptops and tablets, televisions, still and video cameras, MP3 players, batteries, cellphones and chargers, phone systems, cables, radios and speakers, projectors, routers, modems and switches, fax machines, video game consoles, external drives, DVD players, cable and satellite receivers, alarm clocks, recorders and digital converter boxes.

The company will wipe all personal data from hard drives.
