CEO Message: Monexa Year-End Report

2013 Highlights

Monexa boosted its profile within the cloud billing and commerce market via a sharpened focus on enterprise B2B organizations. This strategy was well-received by the market, as Monexa saw considerable success in securing many enterprise accounts, including technology giant Cisco Systems Inc., directly competing against other top industry players. Furthermore, independent research commissioned by prospective customers placed Monexa as the leader in the enterprise billing space. Monexa translated this customer success into key equity financing from leading early-stage investment firm, Yaletown Venture Partners. This investment has allowed Monexa to more than double their research and development efforts in late 2013 and carrying over into 2014.

Management Team Update

Monexa's achievements this year were made possible by the company's world class team. Adding to this talented group, Monexa recently welcomed Vik Kambli as Vice President of Marketing. Vik will provide leadership in enterprise product marketing and strategy, capitalizing on his background in consulting and years at Microsoft where he held a variety of marketing leadership roles across the organization.

2014 Initiatives

The team's reputation for results will be vital in bringing success to the company's 2014 initiatives. The main focus of which will be continuing to expand the enterprise customer base through a superior product offering as well as the professional services capabilities to ensure that customers get to benefits realization as quickly as possible. Monexa will also continue to build on key product strengths in 2014. This includes the release of an events-driven engine that will drive seamless message integration to enterprise systems and provide a base for transparent customer communications. Customers can also look forward to greater outbound API integration, providing seamless interaction with mission critical systems, and a cleaner, simplified user interface.
