The WB has presented its GDP growth prospects for Central Asian in 2014-2016. According to the report, among energy-exporting countries ( Azerbaijan , Kazakhstan , and Uzbekistan ), activity has continued strong reflecting relative strength in energy-related commodity prices, expansion of production in extractive sectors, and healthy growth in domestic demand. Kazakhstan's GDP growth rate for 2014 will make 5.8%, which is by 0.2% less than in 2013, growth rate for 2015 and 2016 will be at 5.9%. At the same time, the difficult situation in banking sector remains in Kazakhstan , according to the World Bank . Turkmenistan's GDP growth rate for 2014 will make 10.7%, which is by 0.5% more than in 2013, growth rate for 2015 - 10.5%, 2016 - 10.1%. Uzbekistan's GDP growth rate for 2014 will make 7%, which is by 0.4% less than in 2013, 2015 and 2016 - 6.7%. Kyrgyzstan's GDP growth rate for 2014 is projected to reach 6.5%, which is by 4% less than in 2013, growth rate for 2015 - 5.4 %, 2016 - 5.3%. Tajikistan's GDP growth for 2014, 2015 and 2016 will make 6.0%, which is by 1% less than in 2013. In Central Asian countries that are not energy producers, economic growth will be reinforced by increase in remittances and export earnings. However, due to lower prices of non-energy raw materials, reduction in export revenues and increased government spending are possible. The future growth of CA region faces a number of risks that could lead to possible forecast downgrade. One of the major risks is slowdown in economic recovery in Euro Area, it is especially significant for countries with close trade and financial ties with member countries of Euro Area. Moreover, more substantial slowdown in Russia could undermine prospects for economic growth in many countries of Central Asia , and especially in those that are heavily dependent on Russia in terms of demand for imports, remittances and foreign investment (for ex. Kyrgyzstan , Tajikistan and Uzbekistan ).
