KANSAS CITY, Mo., Jan. 16 -- Dream Big America, a live, nationally syndicated radio show that pits vetted entrepreneur business startups against each other, on Thursday announced its partnership with San Francisco-based Latino Startup Alliance.
"This new partnership with Dream Big America provides greater reach to the mission and purpose of Latino Startup Alliance," LSA founder Jesse Martinez said in a news release. "We're eager to bolster this partnership to create stronger bonds and greater value to Latino entrepreneurs around the country."
LSA "fosters an ecosystem to support Latino tech entrepreneurs and future innovators by providing a community of peers, resources, mentors and investors," according to the release.
"Our team is thrilled to be partnering with Latino Startup Alliance," said Dream Big America co-founder and show host Doug Stephan. "It's a rapidly growing organization with an important mission, and we're excited to work together to support the Latino entrepreneur community."
This week's show, airing Jan. 21, will feature Interesante, The Social Radio and StudyRoom.
Interesante (www.interesante.com), presented by founder Antonio Altamirano, is a Pinterest-style e-commerce site that focuses on dispora-created products, specifically for the Hispanic community.
The Social Radio (www.thesocialradio.com), presented by co-founder and CEO Roberto Gluck, integrates an audio feed of users' social media networks amd favorite music.
StudyRoom (www.getstudyroom.com), presented by co-founder and CEO Emerson Malca, is an online forum for students to post questions, share notes and find study groups.
These entrepreneurs will pitch their business ideas for two minutes each, followed by an expert business panelist who offers feedback and suggestions. TThewinner will compete against FanzLive and Try the World, the winners of the first and second weeks, on Jan. 28 to become the January Dream Big Champion.
Dream Big America airs Tuesdays at 9:10-9:40 a.m. EDT on Doug Stephan's Good Day Program, syndicated to more than 500 markets across the U.S. with a weekly listening audience of 3.5 million, according to the release. The show can also be heard via live podcast on the DreamBigAmerica.us website.
