SIXTY teams have been selected for Tamkeen's Youth Business Plan Competition , "Mashroo3i", which aims to promote entrepreneurial culture within the next generations of Bahrainis. Six mentors and three judges, will play a vital role at every stage of the competition - from selection of participating teams and providing mentorship to finally selecting the winning teams. All the members of the team of experts have been carefully chosen in light of their experience, knowledge, credibility and commitment through their work in various fields. The six mentors are currently training the 60 shortlisted teams on writing their own business plans during the business planning stage of the Mashroo3i competition, including outlining the objectives, tasks and action plans, supervising each team's plan of action, and be the participants' point of contact to ensure participants are on track with the deadlines. The distinguished line-up of mentors are INSTALLUX GULF managing director and founder Basim Al Saie , Mumtalakat private equity investments team vice-president Damien Balmet , DeemZ Jewellery founder Deema Al Haddad , GCCIX founder and chief executive Fahad Al Shirawi , Bahrain Blinds founder Hassan Al Balooshi and MASY Holdings founder Safa Sharif . The Jury will be made up of a panel of Bahrain University College of Business Administration professor Dr Jameela Al Mahari , Vanguard founder and managing director Hazem Janahi and Mumtalakat investments vice-president Joseph Kirikian . The 60 teams will need to submit their business plans next month. The public can follow and engage with the teams via the social media channel (TamkeenBahrain) as well as on (mashroo3i.bh).
