TigerDirect.com revealed plans for their second annual Miami Tech Summit and Holiday Bash. Taking the city by storm once again, TigerDirect.com, a retailer specializing in consumer electronics, technology products and computer services, and Intel, will host an evening of technology and interactive entertainment at Marlins Park on Thursday, November 7, from 8pm - 12 midnight.
TigerDirect.com and Intel have created a stadium-sized event showcasing the latest and greatest in technology while continuing their efforts to make Miami a technology hub for the Americas.
According to a release, capitalizing on the success of last year's event, with over 4,000 attendees and special celebrity appearances by Anna Kendrick, Reggie Bush and Ryan Tannehill, TigerDirect.com and Intel chose to double down with Marlins Park. The Miami Tech Summit and Holiday Bash will allow vendors to announce new products and do pre-release demonstrations for an anticipated 10,000 attendees. With expected attendance set to more than double from last year's celebration, the event will take full advantage of Marlins Park, including their high-tech score boards and LED screens, utilizing the center field for brand activations, a main performance stage and party atmosphere. The concourse surrounding the field will feature nearly 100 vendors, each showcasing new products and services.
Participating exhibitors include Intel, Western Digital, Alienware, HP, Kingston, Microsoft, Seagate, Patriot, SMS Audio, ASUS, Discount Laptop Shop, Centon, CoolerMaster, Sony (VAIO), eBay, Tripplite, Epson, Thermaltake, TCL (TTE), Swann, Planar, PayPal, Night Owl, LG, Belkin/Linksys, AT&T Wireless, United Stationaries, NZXT / iBuyPower, Kensington, Autodesk, Squaretrade, Verbatim, XFX, Viewsonic, TrendMicro, Sandisk, MSI, EVGA, OCZ, Drobo and Actiontech.
The first 5,000 consumers and first 1,000 business customers will receive a complimentary "swag bag" from TigerDirect. All attendees will be eligible to participate in various additional giveaways throughout the night.
A special video announcement will be made at 9PM at the event by the artist 50 Cent and other celebrity appearances are pending confirmation.
