A new service designed to maximize the business benefits of the internet has been launched by Zain Bahrain. The Zain Fax and eFax services are designed to help companies to receive and send faxes 'on the go' and leapfrog from one technology (fax) to a more advanced version (eFax) seamlessly.
Zain's eFax service helps to deliver faxes as e-mails via the Zain broadband network so that they can be accessed and replied to wherever access to the internet can be obtained, including over smartphones. The telecoms company offers subscribers two alternatives: one would be to connect existing ordinary fax machines to the internet via an adaptor provided by Zain.
The advantage here is that the fax machine can be used virtually anywhere, through Zain's internet service which covers the whole Kingdom, without the need for a telephone line. For example, a project office in a remote area can immediately be fitted with a fax machine via mobile internet.
The other alternative, suitable for individuals and companies, is to take the eFax service. This service allows the user to link the email address to a fax number and then enjoy sending and receiving fax on the go wherever email access exists: in the office, at home, while traveling and over smart phones. The use of eFax is simple, as with all Zain Bahrain services: write an email from your PC, laptop, tablet computer or smart phone, and simple send the any fax machine in the world. Attach any file to the email and it will be received as part of the fax message. The email is addressed to: [fax number]@fax.zain.com.bh.
The recipient will receive the body of the email you typed as a cover letter, and the attached photos/files as following Fax page.
When someone sends you a fax, you simply received it in your email. Because it's an email it is automatically archived for future reference. You can view it or forward it to somebody else, while on the go using your smart phone. You can print it if you want a hard copy.
The service combines significant efficiency and cost savings for companies and individuals with quick set-up and ease of use which makes it an effective business tool.
"Once again, Zain Bahrain has used innovation to help entrepreneurs and small business owners to leapfrog into a more productive and less expensive work cycle," said
