("UniTek" or the "Company") (Nasdaq:UNTK), a premier provider of permanently outsourced infrastructure services to the telecommunications, broadband cable, wireless, transportation, public safety and satellite television industries, today announced that the Audit Committee of the Company's Board of Directors has approved the appointment of Grant Thornton LLP ("Grant Thornton") as its independent registered public accounting firm, effective September 16, 2013. Grant Thornton will perform independent audit services for the Company beginning with the three-month period ended March 31, 2013.
Ernst & Young LLP, the Company's previous independent registered public accounting firm, has agreed to work with Grant Thornton to facilitate an orderly transition.
