The company spent twelve months immersing itself in the local and business community to experience firsthand Ecuador's affinity for collaborative development.

The opening of the Ecuador office is part of ThoughtWorks' continued growth in Latin America, starting with the opening of offices throughout Brazil beginning with Porto Alegre in 2009, followed by offices in Recife a few years later and most recently SÃo Paulo.
