Inception Media Group, a diversified media company specializing in the production, acquisition and distribution of entertainment content, announced it has acquired the rights to four horror films for distribution across all platforms.
The company noted that the films acquired are:
Silent But Deadly
Introverted loner Thomas Capper prefers the company of his beloved goat, Liza, to that of people, and he'd do anything for her. When a Hollywood film crew starts shooting on location in the countryside of his small town, the cooperative and mild-mannered Thomas lands a gig as the director's assistant. But when Liza ends up as lunch for the crew, he embarks on a merciless killing spree to avenge his dearly departed pet's death. Starring Jason Mewes ("Clerks," "Clerks II," "Scream 3," "Mallrats"). Release date: Sept. 24. The film was acquired from Double Dutch International.
It's Friday and Shannon's parents are away for the weekend, making it the perfect time to have a party. The music's blasting and the drinks are flowing, but suddenly the party comes to a crashing halt when Shannon's friend accuses a boy of rape. Without knowing the guilt or innocence of the boy, the group extracts vengeance and accidentally kills him. A situation that was unthinkable a few hours earlier is now their reality. They blame each other in a wild attempt to justify what they have done. With seemingly no other option, they hide their crime, only to face a shock that leads them down a more sinister path. Starring Sean Young ("Blade Runner," "No Way Out," "A Kiss Before Dying"), Jenna Boyd ("The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants," "The Missing," "The Hunted"), Haley Ramm ("Into The Wild," "X-Men: The Last Stand," "Flightplan"), Josh Janowicz ("Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle") and Shoshana Bush ("Dance Flick"). Release date: Oct. 8. The film was acquired from Highland Film Group, LLC.
Knight of the Dead
Hunted by assassins, a band of crusading knights escort the Holy Grail through a forbidden valley of Black Death and discover something far more terrifying than the plague. Overrun by hordes of flesh eating zombies, their only chance for survival is to hack and slash their way to freedom. Release date: Jan. 21, 2014. The film was acquired from Automatic Entertainment GL, LLC.
Devils of War
Buckle up for an action-packed thrill ride with The Captain, The Sniper and Black Hercules. Called up by Franklin Delano Roosevelt to carry out a top-secret rescue mission in 1944 Poland, a daring team of Special Forces soldiers quickly find themselves trapped deep behind enemy lines. With no evacuation and no escape options, they are forced to cooperate and utilize their unique talents to battle super-soldier Nazis, save some local virgins and storm a remote occult Nazi science lab to literally stop hell from boiling over. If it's going to take guts, split-second timing and a million bullets, it's a job for the Devils of War. Release Date: Spring 2014. The film was acquired from Automatic Entertainment GL, LLC.
