that had names like Sanjay Dutt, Priyanka Chopra and South star Ramcharan associated with it. The film clashed with YRF's
Shuddh Desi Romance (SDR)
, starring Parineeti Chopra, Sushant Singh Rajput and newbie Vaani Kapoor. Both the movies were high on buzz, the first for being the remake of 1973, Amitabh Bachchan-starrer by the same name, while the other for being a youth-centric rom-com and also for its chart-bursting music.
*Talking about the film's performance, trade analyst, Amod Mehra says, "

has done extremely well. The kind of money it made on its first day is commendable, especially since the film had got a limited release, as compared to
, which was released widely all over India." The Maneesh Sharma directorial had 900 plus prints and was released at 1050 screens. The movie, which was made on a budget of Rs.25 crore, according to trade analyst Vinod Mirani, has garnered Rs.5.75 crore on its opening day.
