This week there is a mix of three different genres - horror, thriller and comedy on your plate - 'Grand Masti', 'John Day' and 'Horror Story' release today.
The much-talked about 'Grand Masti', sequel to 'Mast' (2004) is a an adult comedy multi-starrer with leading ladies Bruna Abdullah, Karishma Tanna, Kainaat Arora, Manajari Phadnis, Sonalee Kulkarni, Maryam Zakaria and actors Aftab Shivdasani, Vivek Oberoi and Ritesh Deshmukh in the lead.
Directed by Indra Kumar, 'Grand Masti' revolves around the wild adventures of three married guys who take a trip for their college reunion.
'Grand Masti' has been made on a budget of Rs 35 crore and it will release on more than 2000 screens.
'Grand Masti' promises to be funny and light but might lose out on the family-viewing factor as it is strictly adult.
However, actor Vivek Oberoi isn't worried about the film facing any flak for hurting any sentiments saying, "I am not going to engage anybody from morale brigade. This film is not meant to teach moral values. It is an entertaining film and not meant to be taken seriously."
The second release this week is a Bollywood thriller, 'John Day' starring Naseeruddin Shah and Randeep Hooda in lead roles.
Directed by Ahishor Solomon, the film also features Vipin Sharma, Shernaz Patel, Sharat Saxena and Elena Kazan.
The final release of the week is Vikram Bhatt's 'Horror Story', directed by Ayush Raina.
The film tells the tale of a group of youngsters who take up the challenge of exploring an abandoned hotel, little knowing the horror that lies within.
The film stars Karan Kundra, Nishant Malkani, Ravish Desai, hasan Zaidi and Arpana Bajpai among others.
