DREAMBOATS AND PETTICOATS Wolverhampton Grand Theatre, 01902 429212, Monday to Saturday. ? SIXTIES teen idol Mark Wynter joins the cast of this musical, set during his heyday. He performs his hits Venus in Blue Jeans, Go Away Little Girl and It's Almost Tomorrow, as well as playing a character who runs a youth club where the talented young cast hang out and sing songs like Shaking All Over, Bobby's Girl, Runaround Sue and Let's Twist Again.

The love story is set in 1961 when Norman and Bobby compete to win a song writing competition and the heart of gorgeous Sue.

BEST OF REST HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH Old Joint Stock Theatre, Birmingham, 0121 200 0946, Today & tomorrow. COVENTRY actor, singer and producer Nigel Francis brings his version of the rock musical to Birmingham. It's the somewhat bizarre story of a boy named Hansel who meets an American GI in East Berlin, who promises to take him back to the US if he has a sex change. Funny and moving, think Rocky Horror Show. FAWLTY TOWERS: THE DINNER SHOW Mercure Hotel, Wolverhampton, 01902 429212, Wednesday. THE duck may well be off, and don't mention the war! The evening performance with dinner has sold out, but there may be tickets left for lunch while being chaotically entertained by actors playing Manuel, Basil and Sybil.
