This expansion is part of AT&T's Project Velocity IP, a three-year investment plan announced last fall to expand and enhance its broadband networks.
LTE, which stands for long-term evolution, is the latest form of commercial high-speed wireless communication network technologies. It offers download and mobile browsing speeds 10 times faster than older 3G networks.
Both companies plan to continue expanding their respective LTE networks across the state over the next few years.
