New Sharon Stone Documentary Opens to Sold Out Theater

Vision Films' Documentary Femme: Women Healing the World Hits Theaters to Sold Out Audience LOS ANGELES, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 09/11/13 -- Today Vision Films, a worldwide distributor of independent feature films, documentaries and music programming, announces the first theatrical screening of "Femme: Women Healing the World," a globally conscious documentary directed by Emmanuel Itier that features Sharon Stone, Maria Bello, Jean Houston, Barbara Marx Hubbard, Gloria Steinem, Nobel Peace Prize Laureates Shirin Ebadi, Mairead Maguire and Jody Williams, and many other notable women from around the world.

The screening begins at 7:30 pm tonight, to a sold-out audience at Laemmle's Monica 4 in Santa Monica, and concludes with a Q&A session with Director Emmanuel Itier, Director of Photography Claude Budin-Juteau and several of the women interviewed in the film, including Marianne Williamson, Celeste Yarnall, Carole Wells, Ingrid Hirstin Lazcano, Helene Cardona, and Gemini Adams. Additionally, attending cast and crew will be available for press interviews and audience feedback.

These screenings are requested through links on each film's website, hosted by an individual person or organization, and are available in every theatrical market in the United States. In addition to innovative theatricals, the films are available on direct to the consumer through a streaming player embedded on websites, which is available worldwide. Nearly any person or organization can become a revenue-sharing affiliate by embedding the film on their web pages -- including but not limited to fan/genre sites, official websites of celebrity actors in the films, Facebook pages and more.
