ONE of the world's best guitar players is coming to Carmarthenshire later this month.
Legendary guitarist Gordon Giltrap is set to take to the stage at Green Valley Arts in Upper Cwmtwrch on Friday, September 20, as part of the Welsh guitar Festival at the centre.
Giltrap, one of the most innovative acoustic guitarists in the UK today, has been called simply the best, by Eric Clapton and Queen's Brian May has said Gordon Giltrap is one of an elite few who truly have become legendary in their field in their own lifetime.

With 45 years in the music business under his belt, Giltrap will satisfy fans with his most well loved hits, as well as explaining the history of his many different guitars. A festival spokesman said: Be prepared for beautiful compositions that cross all musical genres, wit, charm and unbelievable talent.
Well known for his collaborations with other artists and his work for both the BBC and commercial television. Heartsong is instantly recognised as the theme for the holiday programme.
Gordon continues to delight his audiences and no two concerts are ever the same.
American guitarist Rodney Branigan, will join Giltrap in the festival's line-up and will perform at the sustainable centre on Saturday, September 21.
The spokesman added: His live performances never fail to impress the audiences with his percussive guitar beats and the two guitars at a time.
He is in constant demand around the world both as the flamboyant festival artist as well as the guitar master.
Tickets for the event cost Pounds 8 for a day and only Pounds 15 for both days with campsite included.
