Attendees also had the chance to network with eight former BOD presidents."

Highlights of some of the significant actions approved by the member boards of nursing include:

•Adoption of the 2014-2016 Strategic Initiatives; •Adoption of the 2014 NCLEX-PN® Test Plan; •Adoption of the revised membership agreement and setting the membership fee to zero; •Adoption of the revisions to the NCSBN Bylaws; and •Approval of the Association of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland & Labrador, College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba, Saskatchewan Association of Licensed Practical Nurses, and the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland as associate members of NCSBN.

"Our meeting was not just about commemorating the past; it was also about setting ambitious strategic initiatives for the future that build upon the organization's history of taking calculated risks.
