China-based IT services and BPO provider Pactera Technology International has been selected to implement and support Austria-based Infonova's R6 'concept-to-cash' virtual network enabler (VNE) platform at iTelecom Wholesale (iTW), Australia's wholesale only communications aggregator and iVNE to service providers and brands. The Infonova R6 platform will support the iVNE offering and enable iTW customers' to monetise services, business models and content. The iVNE operation will support real multi-tenant concept-to-cash operations for fully convergent billing and customer care and cross-industry business models, while also supporting Telco 2.0 simultaneously. The platform enables iTW's customers to configure, bundle and price any technology or service, such as fixed-line, broadband, VoIP and mobile services with services such as cloud (IaaS, PaaS and SaaS), IPTV, CDN, and their own industry offerings, such as media content, insurance, banking and finance, product distribution, water, gas and power via one platform and make these services available to multiple channels. As part of the agreement, Pactera will provide ongoing technical support to iTW, including deployment of the Infonova R6 platform, establishment of the business capacities around iVNE offerings and operations support. The platform will initially support prepaid and postpaid mobile services using parts of the Telstra 3G network as well as fixed-line, ADSL and the NBN services.
