Edgewater Networks, Inc., a leading provider of Enterprise Session
Border Controllers (ESBCs), today announced a lineup of conference
activity for the fall of 2013 with key company executives presenting at
two industry events, ITEXPO West 2013 and TC3 2013: Telecom Council
Dave Martin, Vice President of Marketing, will be a featured panelist on
the “SBCs – A Must for Your Enterprise IP Network” panel at ITEXPO West
2013 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The panel will discuss SBCs at the enterprise
network edge. It will review security and privacy requirements,
signaling and traffic encryption, media and signaling forking, network
demarcation, threat detection and mitigation, and interoperability.
Panelists will also examine how SBCs can enable enterprises to capture
the cost benefits of VoIP and Unified Communications, while maintaining
essential security policies and access to mobile communications across
the network. The panel will take place on Thursday, August 29 from 1:00
PM PT to 2:45 PM PT at the Mandalay Bay Hotel.
On Thursday, September 19th, from 2:15 PM PT to 2:45 PM PT,
Dave Norman, Chief Executive Officer of Edgewater Networks, will
participate in a Fireside Chat at the TC3 2013: Telecom Council Carrier
Connections event. The discussion will include Jean-Marc Frangos,
Managing Director External Innovation at British Telecom, and it will be
moderated by Kerton Group lead analyst Derek Kerton. It will focus on
how carriers and vendors can work together to address the opportunities
surrounding new technologies such as Software Defined Networking (SDN)
and virtualization that are impacting the future delivery of business
services. TC3 2013 will take place at the Juniper Aspiration Dome in
Sunnyvale, CA, September 18-19, 2013.
