Global Down Syndrome Foundation announced that its Be Beautiful Be Yourself Fashion Show is a fundraiser benefiting people with Down syndrome.

According to a release, the event features models with Down syndrome, music icon Quincy Jones and celebrities including actor John C. McGinley, supermodel Beverly Johnson, HLN anchor Kyra Phillips, and Fox News anchor John Roberts.

Singer, guitarist and songwriter Todd Park Mohr will perform at the event. Mohr is the lead singer, guitarist and songwriter for the rock band Big Head Todd and the Monsters (BHTM). The band recently recorded a new studio album in Chicago, set for release in 2014. This summer BHTM headlined the inaugural LP Tour.

Saturday, Sept. 28, the Global Down Syndrome Foundation's 5th Anniversary Be Beautiful Be Yourself Fashion Show begins at 5 p.m. with a cocktail reception and silent auction. At 6:30 p.m., 1,200 attendees will enjoy dinner, a star-studded fashion show featuring models with Down syndrome and a celebration of the Global Down Syndrome Foundation's past five ambassadors (Sophia Kay Whitten, Chase Turner Perry, Katherine Vollbracht Winfield, DeOndra Dixon, and Samantha Marcia Stevens).
