Mobile handset marker Gionee Communications announced the launch of its new smartphone, the Gionee Elife E6 in Nigeria. First launched in India in July, the phone comes with a 1080x1920 resolution screen, measures 6.18mm thin and weighs 128 grams. The Gionee Elife E6 comes with a 13-megapixel auto focus rear camera, which also includes a second-generation sensor and LED flash, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with a 28mm lens. Both cameras support 1080p video recording. The phone runs on Android 4.2 with Gionee's own custom Amigo UI layer. The phone is powered by a 2020mAh battery.
