The county says the company, which will hire locally, is involved in 3-D imaging and will soon move its headquarters into a county-owned building.
The one thing the county won't reveal, however, is the company's name.
Citing a state law that keeps relocation talks confidential, county staff members who worked out the deal say they can't disclose the name until the company makes an announcement.
The name is apparently a well-kept secret.
"I will be excited whenever we find out who it is and what they do," Attkisson said.
"This is a good deal," he added. "Companies are starting to see they can make a fine living, and it's easy to do business here."
Commissioners agreed to a five-year lease with the company, known only by the code name "Project Ideas" in documents. According to materials accompanying the lease, the business is "a multi-industrial R&D and light manufacturing company expanding its 3D imaging technology," with applications in the medical, simulation and entertainment fields.
3-D imaging involves creating the appearance of a three-dimensional picture on a two-dimensional surface. Examples include video games, military simulators and medical procedures such as mammograms and sonograms.
